Curly Sue is one of two older poodles we pulled from a shelter. Curly Sue and Gem were both up front curled up in laps of the shelter staff. The staff were simply smitten by these two poodles and felt sorry for them too because of their age. Curly Sue is about 7 or 8 years young. Don’t be fooled by her age for this girl can jump up the side of the porch that is two feet high!
Curly is totally housetrained and so well behaved. Super easy dog to care for. She does not get riled about anything and is easy going. She loves to sleep on a bed pillow by the side of my bed and she is a good little sleeper.
She is great about going outside, does not take off or anything and the minute I open the door to go back inside she is at the door pretty quick .. and if I don’t see her she stands in front of the sliding glass door waiting for me.
She should be fine with the older children and an occasional visit from a younger grandchild. She is perfect for a single older person, a couple who are gone a lot or an older couple looking for companionship. She will require regular grooming. And her owners will want to be prepared that she could easily live another ten years.
Curly Sue has had a complete dental and is good shape physically.
Curly Sue is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application
