River Photos: March 28th, 2011

On March 28th, 2011 a couple of us packed up some of our foster dogs and went to a park by the riverside for a photo shooting session.  The sun was shining giving the outdoors a wonderful spring look.  It looked inviting and warm and we were ready.  But wow, was it ever cold!  By the end of our short session my fingers could not even push the photo button anymore!  But the dogs seemed to enjoy the outing and didn’t fuss too much when they were put up on logs that stretched out over the river or perched precariously at the river edge.  And I’m not sure who was more entertained, the lone fisherman casting out his line or the dogs who would occasionally notice him and give a bit of a bark.

Lucy: she is the one that we put on the log that stretched out over the river.

The river blurred out to a grayish tone.

Boop: look at this sweet Rat Terrier.
She is housetrained, completely, has impeccable house manners and is just as sweet as can be.

Snorkie:  A wild little loveable fun puppy!

Fluff: he was  not feeling top notch today .. had a bit of an upset stomach.
But he handled the photo session well and he was good to drive too!

Peggy: a small corgi and sheltie mix, she was being silly today.

Twiggy:  This little spoiled girl was on hand too!

I am willing to admit though, she was last, we were all cold and ready to climb back into the van, crank up the heat and head for home!

All these dogs are available for adoption.
