Cornelia and Adeline
Three year old Scottie sisters, these two have landed in a local animal shelter, not just once, but twice. Adeline, Addie for short, developed stress related hair loss which developed into a minor bacteria infection. And that is why we ended up with them. Addie has been on meds and her spots are healed, hair is growing back and in a couple more weeks no one will guess she ever was stressed out!
This photo was taken the afternoon after I picked them up at my groomer. You can see their little St Patrick’s
scarves! The groomer did a fantastic job!
Originally we thought they might be Westies but after their grooming, they are clearly Scottish Terriers. They could be mixes. They have shorter than average short necks for Scotties — but check out those long noses! Here is a before and after photo of the same dog!
Both girls are housetrained, good with other dogs, playful, like rawhides and toys and certainly compete for time on the couch. They think they are lap dogs but at 25 pounds each they are on the large size for that. They do fairly well together but would be best separated. They can not share a smaller inside dog type kennel. They love people. They are ok with cats but they do tend to follow the cat around and seem to be hoping it will run so they can chase it. Naughty girls!

PetsConnect! is an all volunteer not-for-profit organization moving into out Tenth Year!
All the animals are in foster homes and well cared for, we pay our bills, make our thank yous and our volunteers work very hard to run PetsConnect! as a professional, caring, friendly business!
The animals in our program come from local animal shelters and to the employees and volunteers of our local animal shelters we are most grateful and thankful for the hard, emotionally taxing work they engage in daily.
