UPDATE: These photos and videos were taken March 25th, 2011. Grant is with his young foster mom. Look how self confident he has become: he is the man!
Grant is doing really well on his housetraining. He get’s along with most other dogs but does get jealous with some of them in his size category. He will be an awesome pet for some family.
Grant is a handsome two year old male Chihuahua. Truly, he is red! Stunning. He weighs in at 10 pounds and is well proportioned. Grant is a real sweetie. He loves to cuddle, snuggle, give kisses, be in a lap, be held and just whatever you want to do – this boy is there! He is great with dogs but does tend to be a bit more dominant with some dogs. He appears to be housetrained and has been doing a good job of all four legs on the ground. He is fine with most cats, but seems to delight in “chase the cat’ if a cat runs.
Grant is one of those Chichi’s that can get off the porch and run with the big dogs because a wimp he is not. It’s at times a fault. But then he has so many kisses to offer to make up for whatever naughty thing he just did! Grant came to us the same day, from the same animal shelter, from the same kennel actually as Mia and Sherman.
Grant is one of many Chichi’s in our program right now. Click here to see some more chichi’s available for adoption.
Medical: He is neutered, micro chipped, wormed, and up to date on shots.
Microchip: Included in the adoption is the registration of the AVID micro chip in the new owner’s name.
Adoption fee: $250
Leash and Collar or Harness: a Lupine brand harness or collar and leash are provided for each
canine. Lupine has a life time guarantee; if chewed, the company will replace it free of charge
PetsConnect! is an all volunteer not-for-profit organization moving into out Tenth Year!
All the animals are in foster homes and well cared for, we pay our bills, make our thank yous and our volunteers work very hard to run PetsConnect! as a professional, caring, friendly business!
The animals in our program come from local animal shelters and to the employees and volunteers of our local animal shelters we are most grateful and thankful for the hard, emotionally taxing work they engage in daily.
