Cafecito is an absolute delight! He is deliciously brown with exquisite markings. He has a teddy bear feel to him: soft to the touch and a coat that you want to bury your fingers into. He does enjoy being held but remember, he is a kitten so he loves to run and play too. In these photos he was entranced with the red ribbon!
Cafecito came from a local animal shelter. He was one of three, but sadly, I only had room for four new kittens. I had already chosen a sibling family of three: Java, Dusky and Ashlee. About a week after I brought this little guy home I was glad I had only taken him because he got so sick. Truly, I did not think he would make it. Java, Dusky and Ashlee are a month old and while they also came down with Upper Respiratory Infections, they recovered quickly with antibiotics, but not this little guy. Kittens can be hard to foster – they move from health to illness so quickly. Just when I was sure he would not make it, I came home to find him cheery eyed and eating hard food! Within a couple days he was acting like a healthy, playful loving kitten and eating a lot! And he has been great ever since.
Cafecito hangs with the sibling trio: Java, Dusky and Ashlee.
He would do fine with anything – he has that type of great personality.
Medical: He is neutered, wormed, and up to date on shots.
He has been tested for Feline Leukemia and has Revolution applied once a month.
We will micro chip cats and kittens adopted from our program who are over five pounds for an additional $10. This fee includes a $20 prepaid registration form so you can register your pet into your name.
PetsConnect has moved to a no-declaw policy. This means adopters will be asked to not declaw any kittens or cats adopted from the PetsConnect program.

All the animals are in foster homes and well cared for, we pay our bills, make our thank yous and our volunteers work very hard to run PetsConnect! as a professional, caring, friendly business!
The animals in our program come from local animal shelters and to the employees and volunteers of our local animal shelters we are most grateful and thankful for the hard, emotionally taxing work they engage in daily.
