snowflake-l  01_23_2011Sebrina Tingley1908They called me a Border Collie mix when I was at the shelter but my foster mom says I’m probably a hound mix.  Truly, they don’t know and I don’t care!  I’m here, I’m black and white, I’m super cute and I abound with energy!   I am Martah.
I love to play with Martin and the Beagle mix puppies.  I can keep up with the beagle mix puppies but, he he, Martin can’t!  Maybe because he is the only male among us four girls.
My foster mom gave me an estimated birth date of November 16th, 2010.  When I went to the vet to be spayed on January 27th, 2011 my weight was eleven and half pounds.  My foster mom says I won’t be a big dog, but hey, not every dog has to be big!  We got this big monster of a dog named Max in my foster home.  We can’t be out when he is out because he bowls right over us.  We are allowed to play with Cinnamon because she loves puppies.  Guess she has six of her own that are in other foster homes.  They are younger than me.  My foster mommy says they are better behaved too because they do not climb on the couch – well, duh, they can’t reach the couch!
ME, this is about me.  I adore toys, stuffed ones and squeaky ones too.  I really like rawhides too.  I am getting better about going on the newspaper to go potty but sometimes I’m so busy playing I forget and it’s too late.  I can hold my own with the three beagle mix pups and that is saying a lot!  I am incredibly agile – ask my foster mom.   I also like some lap time where my mom holds me and pets me but then I bounce down and go find toys to play with.

Making a Difference

PortraitDogCat PetsConnect! is an all volunteer not-for-profit organization moving into out Tenth Year!
All the animals are in foster homes and well cared for, we pay our bills, make our thank yous and our volunteers work very hard to run PetsConnect! as a professional, caring, friendly business!
The animals in our program come from local animal shelters and to the employees and volunteers of our local animal shelters we are most grateful and thankful for the hard, emotionally taxing work they engage in daily.
