Pascal is an handsome tri-colored male puppy.
He has the look of a hound but the solid ampleness of a chow chow. He is sweet and a bit on the slow side when moving, unless there is food involved! I named him after the new movie Tangled.
One of five sisters, Pascal and his four litter mates came to us from the trunk of a car in the parking lot. Yes, this is most unusual, at least for us. The dogs in our program come from local animal shelters but shortly before Christmas during an adoption event one of our volunteers went outside and there were these puppies with a cardboard sign that they needed homes. We were told they were Shepherd, chow and beagle. They are all large like chow chow’s but three are tri-colored like Pascal. Pascal, Lilly and Lola look a lot alike, while Flynn is just black and white and looks a bit like a Newfie. Click here to see photos and read about Flynn. You can see more photos of Lilly and Lola here.
At first three of the pups were in one foster home while two were in a different foster home. One pup was adopted leaving four puppies. I went to see my grandchildren during the holiday leaving my two with the foster who had Lilly and Lola. When I returned she offered to keep all four. This allowed me to take in two more dogs from a shelter. We work a lot like that to make room for more – at least when we can.
Pascal enjoys running in the snow, playing with his siblings, chewing rawhides and likes toys. He enjoys curling up on the Kuranda Bed with other puppies too.
