Hannah and Reynaldo: An Uncommon Pair

12_14_2010Sebrina Tingley0761holly_leaf_bar Last night while we were watching the Psych TV series on T.V, Reynaldo decided he was cold.
What better to warm up then to curl up in the doggy bed with Hannah!
And what a most uncommon pair.
But then, maybe not.  They do share a similar past before coming to us.  Both were clearly abused – badly.  12_14_2010Sebrina Tingley0748Hannah was so terrified of a swinging leash she would try to climb into the ground, Reynaldo so frightened of cowboy boots that he attacked them without even looking up to see whose feet were in the boots.  Both ended up local animal shelters beaten, bruised, under nourished and emotionally torn.
So, perhaps, when we look beyond the physical appearances, they are not so uncommon a pair after all!

Hannah has come such a long way!  She now looks like a real dog, she acts like a dog and she is proving to be such a fun loving creature to have in the house.
Reynaldo, well, he needs more time…. he is new to our program.

Perhaps this Holiday Season, these two have a story to tell us humans about getting along with one another in this world we share.
