When she was younger is seemed that this sweet girl was the very definition of a “tempest in a teapot.” Her purpose in life seemed to be investigating everything that happened in the house and then issuing her “report.” As she’s gotten older, the desire for “lap-time” is far outweighing the need to investigate. It seems she has developed a sixth sense that tells her when someone is getting ready to sit down on the couch. You will barely be settled in before this little lady will arrive to warm up your lap for you. And purring! She could run a generator!!
She loves to snuggle up on a lap or shoulder and sleep and purr. Sometimes, she can’t even make it all the way to the chosen lap and she just falls right to sleep. It’s very reminiscent of a baby falling asleep in their high chair.
Of course, like any youngster, once she’s rested up she’s on the go again. Her favorite activity is playing with her foster brother, Cafecito. They are fast friends and nearly inseparable. They would love to go to a new home together and entertain their new family with their antics. One of their favorite’s is a game of chase ending in a wrestling match until they’re tired. If nap time is not spent on a lap, it’s spent laying in a sunbeam coming through the window!
Tempest is litter box trained, spayed, tested negative for feline leukemia and up to date on shots. She’s just hanging out waiting to find her forever home. If you’re looking for a kitten who is full of love and fun, this is the girl for you!
