Gunney is a four month old Border Collie and probably lab mix male puppy. He is a big boy, weighing in at just over 30 pounds at just four months of age. He is a shiny black with white markings: he has a superb white bib!
Gunney is a laid back, easy going kind of guy. He enjoys playing with the other puppies and is fine with the cat. He will be a great family pet!
Gunney enjoys walks: read more here.
He likes stuffed toys and rawhides too.
Gunney is a quiet boy with heart melting eyes.
Gunney was named by the youth at the correctional facility. When I first took him to participate in our prison program, DAYLIGHT, he didn’t have a name. Guess the kids like NCIS too for that is where they got his name from. It suits this pup well.
Gunney is an agile pup who enjoys jumping up on things just because he can. Here he is on a bench in the woods. He got the biggest kick out of jumping up onto the bench, walking it, then jumping off – repeat.
You can see his pretty white paws and that white tip on the end of his tail. This is very Border Collie!
Sometimes he gets a bit big for his britches and walks off down the path all by himself and I have to call a couple times to get him to come back, but he is getting better about that. Gunney is not housetrained but he is starting to get the idea. He is crate trained although usually he shares his crate with another puppy. he likes Jordan and Journey. And he likes Gurney too.
Medical: He is neutered, micro chipped, wormed, and up to date on shots.
Microchip: Included in the adoption is the registration of the AVID micro chip in the new owner’s name.
Adoption fee: $250
Leash and Collar or Harness: a Lupine brand harness or collar and leash are provided for each
canine. Lupine has a life time guarantee; if chewed, the company will replace it free of charge (thank goodness!).
