Shamrock, Guinness and Knute

These pups are just ten weeks old in these photos.  They are the last three of a large litter of puppies born to Irish Rose.  You can see more photos of the entire litter and mom taken on August 7th, 2010 by celtic-knot1clicking here!

The pups were born June 20th.
All three pups were neutered or spayed on August 18th, 2010.  They are up to date on their puppy  shots, have been wormed, are Heartworm Preventative and Flea prevention and haveirish_rose_sitting_with_shamrock_corby2_aug7_2010sm been micro chipped.  The pups are healthy, happy bundles of joy!  Their mom, Irish Rose appears to be a Border Collie weighing in at under 20 pounds.  Her offspring will probably be bigger than her!  Irish Rose tested positive for Heartworm… donations are kindly appreciated to help cover her care.  Donations can be sent to us via pay pal or postal mailed: PetsConnect, PO Box 8104, South Bend, IN 46660-8104.

In this photo the pups are only seven weeks old.  This photo, along with a zillion more, were taken during a fun photo shoot we did to work on photos for our 2011 PetsConnect! Calendar!  To see all the photos click here.

Here the pups are on a rock bridge that separates two bodies of water.  It was a hot day and the pups really wanted to just jump in the water!

Guinness is a brown with just a little white.
He can be quite a little barker and can sound beagle like!
No apartments for this little guy.

Guinness is a sweet boy, but still all puppy… so expect a shoe or two _shamrock_sept_3_2010to meet it’s demise around him!

This is Shamrock.

Shamrock is a pretty tri-colored female.  Like her brother Guinness she too appears to have some beagle in her … she certainly can yip and _shamrock3_sept_3_2010whine and howl like a beagle!  No apartments for this little girl either.  Shamrock is also incredibly agile.  Shamrock loves  to be with us and like her two brothers, stays right with us when we go for little walks.

All three puppies are just that – puppies full of fun, energy and knute_sept_3_2010promise.

And here is Knute.  He is a very pretty black and white pup looking very much like a Border Collie.  His body structure is different, he does not do the whining and yipping like his brothers either.

Knute is also sturdier, a bit larger and has thick legs so he may be bigger when full grown.  It is hard to say for sure.

Knute is as loving and affectionate and as wants to be running under your feet while you walk as his brothers!  It is really hard to NOT step on these three little guys when walking.  And they all three adore being held too.
