Raven’s Pups Love Outside Play Time!

15 July 2010 No Comment

Raven’s pups are now 11 weeks old (as of July 16th) and will be ready for adoption the beginning of August.

They are all very playful little things who love nothing more than playing in the backyard.  If they see you letting another dog out in the backyard, they will whine and scream as loud as they can to get outside!  They would stay outside all day if they had the choice!

They adore chasing each other around in the straw and wrestling.  They even chase each other in the pool!  If one pup hops in to cool off, at least 2 more are sure to join!  Their foster brother Sprite taught them that little trick!

They are also doing quite well with learning to hold their potty until they get outside!  As soon as those little feet hit the dirt they do their business and commence playing!  Their foster mom loves that about them because that usually means they’ll be fairly easy to housebreak and they are already paper trained!

We still don’t know what they are mixed with besides lab, but they are developing thick, strong bodies and have lots of loose skin!  They are quite heavy for their small size!

While on the subject of small size, these little ones are not afraid of dogs that are bigger than them!  Some puppies are scared of big dogs, but not these!  They will run right up to a big dog to play!  They even chase their foster mom’s big shepherd mix dog around!

There are lots of pictures of them playing – some of the pictures are action photos so they are a bit blurry as the pups run and play!
