Skidoodle is a 10 month old long hair white with black male cat who looks so much like the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz one just wants to burst out in song:

I could wile away the hours
Conferrin’ with the flowers
Consultin’ with the rain
And my head I’d be scratchin’
While my thoughts were busy hatchin’
If I only had a brain

Our little scarecrow is just as comical as his look alike.  He is soft and has that floppy way about his body too.  It is hard to not smile when looking at this cat, and it’s hard to be gloomy when he climbs into your lap, and it is really hard for me, anyway, to not sing the song when he is lying in front of me being all coy and silly.

I’d unravel any riddle
For any individ’le
In trouble or in pain
Oh, I would tell you why
The ocean’s near the shore

Skidoodle has more growing to do and may be on the large size when all is said an done.  His  markings are amazing!  Not just the splash of black on his nose, but over his entire body.  A very unusual looking guy, Skidoodle is good with other cats and with dogs and should be fine with children too.

He will need to be brushed on a regular basis or he will be a not so fun cat full of mats.skidoodle3_june_8_2010

I could think of things I never thunk before
And then I’d sit and think some more
I would not be just a nuffin’
My head all full of stuffin’
My heart all full of pain
I would dance and be merry
Life would be a ding-a-derry
If I only had a brain
