Buff and white Pekingese
Date of Birth: March 10th, 2008
Great with everything
Exceptionally sweet natured dog.
Has Interverbral Disc Disease
E.T. is always happy happy happy! Seems like he’s always smiling.
E.T. has Interverbral disc disease. E.T. exhibits no pain, and, thankfully, his toilet habits are perfect. The disease has left him moving in a funny way at times but other than that, this little guy is fine.
In fact, doesn’t let his back issues slow him down one bit. He loves to hop on all four paws at the same time, looks like a little rubber bouncy ball when he does it.
He doesn’t realize that he’s only 10 pounds and tries to take on our German Shepherd. But Sadie plays along and lets him think he’s the king.
He also has a very laid back side to his personality, he loves to be held and snuggled or curled up taking a nap. He also enjoys riding in the car, particularly in my lap but will settle for a blanket in the passenger seat.
He is great with children. He would be a wonderful addition to a loving family…..that’s if you can get him away from me first!
E.T. is actually another one that is part of a previous group of pekes that entered our program.
He was just recently released. Here is more information about their story and the first five pekes: October 2009: Pekingese
He is up-to-date on shots, wormed and neutered. He is on Frontline Plus for flea and tick prevention as well as Interceptor for heartworm preventative. He is micro chipped. The adoption fee is $250.
The adoption fee includes: registration of the AVID micro chip in the new owner’s name and a Lupine brand harness and leash. Lupine has a life time guarantee; if chewed, the company will replace it free of charge.
