Date of Birth: August 1, 2009
Good with cats and dogs and children
Carly came to us back in October when she was just a young puppy. She was one of four pups that we called The Shorgi’s because they looked like Corgi and Shepherd mixes. Carly is the second one of the four siblings to be returned, her sister, Short Stuff had been returned too.
Carly was called Shirley the first time around. Here is what she looked like back in October. Too cute!
She is bigger now .. probably about 45 pounds and will get a bit bigger yet. Her ears are straight up – she looks a lot like a Shepherd except she is a bit on the short and stout side.
Carly was returned because her family is divorcing and there was no room for her. She has been well cared for and will be a lovely pet for some lucky family. She is good with children.
Carly does not walk very well on a leash. She doesn’t pull but does step on our feet and just seems rather confused. She is clearly use to being able to go out a door into a fenced in yard to go potty and this would be ideal.
Here you can see her big fluffy tail. She is higher than my knee at her back.
Carly is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment.
Medical: She is spayed, micro chipped, wormed, and up to date on shots.
Microchip: Included in the adoption is the registration of the AVID micro chip in the new owner’s name.
Adoption fee: $250
Leash and Collar or Harness: a Lupine brand harness or collar and leash are provided for each
canine. Lupine has a life time guarantee; if chewed, the company will replace it free of charge (thank goodness!).

All the animals are in foster homes and well cared for, we pay our bills, make our thank yous and our volunteers work very hard to run PetsConnect! as a professional, caring, friendly business!
The animals in our program come from local animal shelters and to the employees and volunteers of our local animal shelters we are most grateful and thankful for the hard, emotionally taxing work they engage in daily.
