Benny is a charming, active, affectionate little guy!

Benny has the Yorkie coloring: he started off black and white but has gradually drifted to this pretty blue and cream.  He will need to be groomed and it is doubtful that he will shed.
Benny is large for a Yorkshire terrier.  He weighs in at about fifteen pounds.

Benny is almost housetrained: his foster mom is working with him on that and reports he is doing well.  Benny is a smart little guy and would benefit from participation in dog training classes with his new owner.
Benny has been great with the other dogs and cats in his foster home.  He loves to play with the other foster dog, Alex.

Where did Benny come from?  Well, he is one of our rare cases where we took an animal from an individual (rather than a local shelter which is where most of our animals come from).  His mom had some twists benny5_may_7_2010and turns in life causing her to have to move and not able to take her beloved pet with her.  She called us because family members had adopted a dog from our program and she liked our adoption process.   After a couple conversations we felt he would do well in our program.

Benny’s adoption fee is $250.  As with all our dogs and puppies he has been neutered and micro chipped and is up to date on his shots, and his worming and his flea and heartworm prevention.  He comes with a Lupine Collar or harness and a leash.

To adopt Benny, put in an adoption application and a volunteer will be in touch with you.
