LuluBelle is new so we are still getting to know her.
She has clearly had puppies, she is about three years old, was picked up as a stray and is a handsome girl.  She does well with other dogs, we don’t know if she is housetrained and we don’t know about cats – yet. 
She has already demonstrated her ability to dig and bark but we are working on getting a lovely howl out of her.

 

 

How she came to us:

LuluBelle entered our program on October 26th, 2009.
She hails from Johnson County Animal Shelter in Franklin, IN.

And guess what?  They deliver!  No kidding.
  We received an email asking if we could take a dog, Brody, because they were full. 
I said sure but they were just too far. 
No problem they reply. 
We have a volunteer willing to drive the four plus hours to you!
Now that is dedication!
And note to self, be careful what excuses you think you can use to not take a dog from a shelter!
