raven_october_28_2018 (8)psRaven is a purebred Labordor Retriever who just turned a year old!
He is an active, playful boy.raven_october_28_2018 (6)ps

Raven needs someone willing to work with him on manners and his basic commands.
Participation in a dog obedience class with his new owner most certainly needs to be on the agenda!

This is a nice dog who was allowed to get away with things such as nibbling peoples hands, jumping up and such. He is doing a great job re-learning how to behave but that work will need to continue.
He walks fairly well with a no pull harness and knows some basics.
This is a dog for the active person who wants a buddy to go on hikes, long adventures and play ball with in the yard.

He loves to play with toys and will chase a ball not bring it back – not yet.  He is a retriever so this is something easy to teach him.

Raven does a lot of mouthing on human arms and such.  This is a learned behavior because the people who had him let him get away with it.   We have been hard at work re-training him and he is doing bettter.  While we feel he would be fine with chidlren from a temperment but he needs a lot of training right now so no children under the teen age years.  He would be great with teen-age boys but maybe that is because our family had a lab named Peach when our sons were teen-agers and the dog was so good with them.

So, purebred lab with lots of potential for a person willing to put in the work.
We are talking dog obedience classes and more then on series.
Adopt this boy because you are up to the challenge and not because he is a purebred.
Train this boy and move on to have a great life with him!

Raven has lots of energy, does ok in a crate but not thrilled.
He loves to run and play.
