Rio is a handsome sable and white Border Collie or sheltie mix, maybe both.
Rio is a year and a half old male weighing in at 19 pounds.
He is house trained and does well in the house.
He enjoys lying at my feet when I am working on the computer.
Rio and Pepper landed in a local animal shelter when their owner could not care for them.
Shelter life was hard on them, too much noise thus they reached out to see if we could take them.
Iniatlly both boys were timid and shy and took a bit of time to settle in.
Rio tends to be more of the dominant one with Pepper.
Rio loves to cuddle and snuggle, run and play and has a lot of potential. He could be a great little pet therapy dog, compete in rally obedience, nose work or agility and more or just be a great little companion pet after basic obedience classes are completed.
Rio is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application
