Great in his walk in kennel and has been fine in the house.  Adopters will, like with any new dog they adopt, want to keep an eye out for the first week to be sure he knows how to go outside and that his new family knows his signals that he needs to go out.

bennie_june_24_2018 (1)psHowever, Bennie is an expressive dog so it won’t take long to figure out what he wants.  He loves going to the door and letting us know he wants in or wants out.  He likes being inside.

Bennie weighs in at 50 pounds and is 3-4 years of age.  We are guessing he is a blue tick mix but we are not sure.
Bennie has done well with other dogs.  We have not had him around cats but he does not appear to have a prey drive and should be fine.  He is curious about the bird but has deep respect for the beak so has left the Macaw alone.   He does not seem to be bennie_june_24_2018 (9)psinterested in the chickens at all but then, there is that rooster.  But I think he is just an easy going dude with a live and let live attitude.
