Sweetie is what I call a ‘move in ‘ dog.
This dog has been good with everything, is steady as she goes and has a marvelous personality.
She is great in her crate and in the house.
She takes her time to adjust allowing other family animals to adjust to her (vs the barge right in version).
Sweetie is a German Shepherd mix, about a year and a half old.
She weighs in at 56 pounds. She is a bit on the hefty side, so much so that when we pulled her the kennel staff at the animal shelter thought Sweetie could be pregnant. Our vet took x-ray to be sure so we know she was not pregnant when spayed. She is just what the vet said is, a ‘burrito’. Whoever adopts her will want to be careful that Sweetie stay at a good weight.
Sweetie is calm, quiet and easy to get along with.
A dog obedience class would be really nice so she can learn to walk well on a leash and learn her basics though she does seem to know sit, come, down, shake and perhaps some more tricks.
Whoever adopts this dog will be a lucky person!
Sweetie is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application
