Angelo

angelo_june_1_2018 (6)psAngelo is a big boy!
At just 18 months of age, he is 85 pounds.angelo_june_1_2018 (8)ps
He is tall too.
He does not bark much but when he does bark it is loud and deep.
This dog is not suitable for apartment, condo type living.
Angelo is a retriever mix.

This boy is great with other dogs, crate trained and said to be house trained.
He was adopted out by a local shelter as a longer pup but then landed in a different shelter.
angelo_june_1_2018 (5)psAngelo was then transported back to the original shelter which is where he was when we got him.

Angelo is self-assured and confident.  Add some dog obedience and this would be a great dog.angelo_june_1_2018 (3)ps
He does pull when walked.  To begin his new family will want to use a no pull or other collar to help with that pulling.  But after some training work the pulling should not be an issue as Angelo likes to please his people.

At a recent festival, Angelo enjoyed the children who stopped by to visit him.
We think he would do well in a family with children as long as there is someone able to spend the angelo_june_1_2018 (7)psresources (time, money, desire) to work with him.
If there are children in the family, a fenced in yard is required.
To be honest, he would do best in a fenced in yard.angelo_june_1_2018 (2)ps
