kalvin_may_13_2018 (1)psMeet Kalvin.
What a little character!
Kalvin is a four month old puggle: Pug and Beagle mix.
Check out those ears!?  They are part of what gives him a comical look.
Which is fitting since he is a funny pup.
He is all about food.  And he is most certainly treat motivated.
He is fun loving, sweet as can be, does not always listen but arrives with a kiss.

He is great with any dog he meets and I would suspect he would be fine with other animals including cats.  There has not been a dog that he has not liked. kalvin_may_13_2018 (3)ps
I have not had him around children but I think he would be fine.  He may jump on smaller children and he is about at that size where he may land on their shoulders.
He appears to be house trained but word: puppy.
His new owner will want to watch him and work with him and not make any assumptions.

kalvin_may_13_2018 (5)psKalvin will do best with a fenced in yard.  I have not had him off leash but given his breed mix, I’m going with a fence.  A dedicated dog walking family may work.
If there are children in the family, the physical fenced in yard is required.

This is a fun loving puppy that is sure to be the apple of someone’s eye.

Please note that adopters will be expected to participate in a dog obedience class.kalvin_may_13_2018 (4)ps
There are many reasons why taking your new puppy to a dog class is a good thing:
encourage bonding, increase pups self-esteem, learn new things or new ways of teaching those old things, meet new people who love dogs too, have resources to help solve those doggy behaviors we don’t want, and maybe, just maybe, get involved in the world of doggy sports because today, there is a multitude of doggy sports for everyone!
Here are a few: Rally obedience, agility, musical freestyle, lure coursing, barn hunt, hose work, conformation, herding.  Your wallet may be lighter when you go out and compete but your life will be fuller!kalvin_may_13_2018 (6)psKalvin is available for adoption.  If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment.  Click here for adoption applicationMedical: He is neutered, micro chipped, wormed, and up to date on shots.
