Get Your JuJu On!
JuJu is a good looking black and white Boxer and much more mix.
We don’t know what that “much more” may be.
This boy is a puppy! He is just six months of age and still has a lot of puppy ways about him.
JuJu is a well marked black and white dog with a tail, more of a thin tail.
He is really good in the house. He will try to get up on the counter if there are good smells but this is a training issue and what I would expect of a puppy.
He has a slight under-bite much like a boxer.
JuJu is super sweet and seems to think he is a lap, cuddle bunny.
He loves to snuggle.
He also loves comfy doggy beds and will curl up in a ball or sprawl out in them.
He has done well with the other dogs. He likes to play but right now, maybe because of all the snow, he would rather be inside then outside.
Depend on him to be first at the door to come back in!
Sometimes he just wants to sit on the patio until we insist he get off and go to the yard. But, again, we have two feet of snow right now and he doesn’t have the thick coat for dealing with the snow.
JuJu is house trained. If scared or you grab at him he may have some submissive drops. He has gotten so much better about that but new owners will want to expect this. How to fix it? Build up his self-esteem. Do this by taking him out and about to stores where he can meet people and be exposed to different environments AND enroll and participate in a dog obedience class. As JuJu learns more and is trained the submissive drops will disappear.
JuJu has been fine with the cats and the big birds.
He has been ok with children at adoption events but given his jumping up on people I would suggest no small children.
JuJu is a great puppy but he does need humans who have the resources ~ time, money, drive, energy ~ to work with him.
He is going to develop into a great dog.
JuJu is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application
