This boy is ready to sail through life’s adventures with you!
He is a 10 month old Labrador Retriever mix with an emphasis on mix.
He is one handsome dude!
He is a well marked black and white dog with some interesting markings.
He has the one marking on his rear side that looks almost like a kiss.

Sailor is a big boy.  He already weighs over sixty pounds.  He should get a bit bigger too, but not a lot given his age.

He is great with other dogs.  Racing about the yard playing running games, or playing tug with other dogs is high on his list.  He will also self-entertain.  There is a big red ball with a rope attached and he loves to drag that around and flip it into the air.  Unfortunately, that red ball is buried under a whole lot of snow at the moment.  And it’s still snowing ~ over a foot and falling.  It will be awhile before that red ball resurfaces.  But not problem, he loves playing in the snow.  Good thing.  There is a lot of snow.sailor_jan_28_2018 (8)ps

Sailor has done well in the house but he will need to be watched.  I can’t say for sure that he is house trained but I suspect so.  I would recommend crate/potty break/short time in house/ repeat as well as timed feedings.

Sailor is eager to please.  Add an obedience class and you could have your next perfect dog.
He would be great in just about any competition sport you might want to try and he has the starts to be a pet therapy dog.

A fenced in yard would be ideal for this dog.  Another playmate would be nice too in terms of helping release energy.   Obedience training and exercise is critical for a well rounded dog.

He does pull when walked so we use a no pull harness and that works well.
He has done well with children at adoption events but I would say older children only.
He seems to not care about the cats but again, it may depend on the cat.
