Emma is a sweet All American Mutt.
She is just two years old and weighs in at #40.
She is not a real active dog, she does not like being outside.
That being outside may change when it’s not freezing outside.
She loves to chew rawhides so that once she get’s one she will chew it until it is gone.
We are now giving her smaller rawhides.
At adoption events, Emma seems to prefer more mature human beings, especially men.
She would like a home that moves a bit slower, where a walk around the block will suffice and outside time, at least when it’s cold, is limited.
Given her singing abilities, we are thinking she has some husky in her gene pool.
She is not loud or persistent, but when she needs to go out or she is wanting to come in she does this sweet soft howl.
And when that doesn’t work after awhile, she can move to a bark. And when the bark doesn’t work, she will persist!
Emma is great in her crate, almost too great. One has to take care to make sure she comes out of her crate.
We have moved her to a really big square pen with a big bed, a Kuranda bed and blankets for what would normally be her crate time because she was not wanting to leave her crate. She is going much better.
This is a really nice dog!
Emma is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application
