Katie and Roxie

katie_dec_27_2017 (7)psLike some sisters, Roxie and Katie look like they are not even related, butroxie_chair_dec_27_2017ps when you spend time with them, well, you can tell they are sisters.
Both were born this past June.
Katie is listed as a poodle mix.  She has the long  hair and could use a grooming.  She is gorgeous when brushed out.   Katie is a light brown and white and weighs 27 pounds.

Roxie is listed as a Border Collie mix.  She is rich deep brown with white.  Roxie too is gorgeous.  Roxie weighs 28 pounds.

katie_roxie_dec_27_2017psThese two are really sweet pups.  They are smart, eager to learn and close to being house trained.
Roxie is more typical of Border Collie and wants to be right by my side, Katie is more apt to go out on an adventure.

Both girls have done great with any dog they meet and I suspect would be fine with cats and children.

Please note that adopters will be expected to participate in a dog obedience class.
roxie_dec_27_2017 (1)psThere are many reasons why taking your new puppy to a dog class is a good thing: katie_dec_27_2017 (3)ps
encourage bonding, increase pups self-esteem, learn new things or new ways of teaching those old things, meet new people who love dogs too, have resources to help solve those doggy behaviors we don’t want, and maybe, just maybe, get involved in the world of doggy sports because today, there is a multitude of doggy sports for everyone!
Here are a few: Rally obedience, agility, musical freestyle, lure coursing, barn hunt, hose work, conformation, herding.  Your wallet may be lighter when you go out and compete but your life will be fuller!
