Female, blue merle
Dachshund and Chihuahua mix
Date of Birth: September 6, 2016
Good with dogs, cats
House trained, crate trained
Bailey is a gorgeous blue merle female.
We are guessing Dachshund because she is long in body and has the look of a doxie but then Chihuahua because of her small stature and her head structure. But, we don’t know for sure.
What we do know is that she is sweet and loves to be in a lap for as long as you let her.
She is on the timid side but getting better.
Bailey needs work on recall because right now she will run out and then hide when you look for her. This is the timid behavior and is simply a training issue that can be worked through with recall work and some yummy treats.
Bailey is good in her crate.
We are not sure about children but due to her small stature and timidity, a home with older calmer children would be best.
Dog obedience would be just what Bailey needs as the more she learns the more self-confident she will become.
Bailey is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment.
