Full of joy, this girl has lots of fun filled energy.
She enjoys playing with other dogs and with toys.
Not once have we seen her get her ‘feathers ruffled’ so to speak.
She seems to have a nice even temperament.
Shaina knows some basic commands but will still need her new owners to participate in a doggy obedience class with her.
Why? To build your bond with her and so she can learn to be a well behaved dog.
Everyone loves well behaved dogs.
Dogs that know how to behave get to go places, like stores and everyone loves them.
They get to become pet therapy dogs too bringing comfort to others.
We all want a well behaved dog and a doggy obedience class is a great investment of resources to achieve that goal.
Shaina could do about anything you want her too: obedience, rally obedience, agility (she is at the perfect age to start in agility), and freestyle and barn hunt and nose work and dock diving – oh, boy, she would rock in dock diving competitions!
Or, how about walks on the beach with runs into the water to play in the waves?
Long walks in the park would be right up her alley.
Back story: we don’t know much. Like 99% of the animals in our program she came to us from a local animal shelter where she landed as a stray. She had been at the shelter for quite awhile waiting to move up to adoption but with so many animals in the shelter her turn just had not come. When PetsConnect volunteers went to the animal shelter to pick out dogs for our foster program, well, she was one of our first choices.
Shaina is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application
Medical: She is spayed, micro chipped, wormed, and up to date on shots.
Microchip: Included in the adoption is the registration of the AVID micro chip in the new owner’s name.
Adoption fee: $225
Leash and Collar or Harness: a Lupine brand harness or collar and leash are provided for each canine. Lupine has a life time guarantee; if chewed, the company will replace it free of charge.
