Albert is a cutie pie through and through!
But what a funny looking puppy for he is as round as he is tall.
Clearly, he has some pug but we do not know what else he is mixed with.
At three months he already weighs in at 18 pounds which seems a lot. But being a small breed mix it’s hard to know if he has reached much of his size or if he has lots more size to go. His little short legs will need to grow longer for him to put much more weight on!
Albert tends to be a bit on the needy side. He just loves to be right at our legs. This boy is not a pup that will run away!
He is great with other dogs and I would guess any animals as well as children. He just has that sweet temperament.
For this pup, I would recommend working on building his self-confidence. This would include lots of socialization which can be done by taking him everywhere you can! Garden centers, lumber yards, anywhere they would allow a dog. Let him get use to sights and sounds and lots of different people.
Next would be a dog obedience class. This would do wonders.
Once you put some time into this pup he is going to be heart stealer of a fantastic pup!
BUT, he should be for a couch potato family. He needs lots and lots of exercise.
I fear weight gain may be an issue for this little guy.
Albert would also be a terrific family pet.
He would be great for pet therapy too once he is trained.
Anyway, great pup!
