Sydney is a sweet as can be small Chihuahua mix.
She has medium long hair and is mostly brindle with a splotch of black here and there and some well placed white markings on her chest and feet.
Sydney is really good about going in her crate and she is pretty much house trained.
Sydney shares her foster home with a couple other small dogs. She loves to race around the yard chasing another dog as well as being chased!
She is an active little girl but when it’s time to rest she loves to cuddle.
She is a tad spoiled. She enjoys watching TV while curled up on the couch with her foster daddy and she sleeps in bed with her foster parents!
Sydney came to us from a local animal shelter where she ended up as a stray. When no one claimed her and her time was up, we happily went over and picked her up.
This little one is a treasure.
She has been great with the children at adoption events and should do fine in most homes but I would not suggest a home with toddlers, maybe a home with five year olds and on up.
She would be a great dog for a pre-teen or teen ager to train in 4-H.
Add some training and this dog would be an amazing pet therapy dog. A youngster can dress her up and take her to local nursing homes and such.
Syndey may be a good dog for the reading to a dog programs they have now.
Sydney is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application
Adoption fee: $250
