White as snow male five month old herding dog mix.
Yes, we have a few herding dog mixes right now!
Snow Bear is a great boy, willing to please and always eager to learn. He does well with people and dogs and cats too.
Being by his foster mom’s side is where he can usually be found though playing with other foster dogs, like Abby, is a lot of fun!
Snow Bear is house trained and crate trained.
Potential adopter should have some knowledge of the herding breeds as well as have the resources for participating in dog obedience training classes. Tons of potential with this little guy.
Herding dogs do best with an owner who will actively train them. They do exceptionally well in herding and agility but also enjoy the many other doggy sports like rally, obedience, barn hunt and nose work. They can be seen doing a lot of the Frisbee competitions too.
Herding dogs are not a good dog to leave home for long hours as they tend to get bored and can be destructive.
They are a great dog, smart as a whip, eager to learn with a high energy level as well as a strong drive.
Snow Bear is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application
