Tucker: Our One Eyed Hound Dog

PC_heart icons-01Tucker landed in a local animal shelter looking, well, pathetic.hound_need_fosterps
Skin-bone, dull eyes, head hanging low and one eye that was bulging out and on the verge of rupturing.
This was one very sad looking dog.

The shelter asked us but we didn’t have any room.
They called again saying not a rescue was able to take him and his time was coming to an end.
We asked for permission to use this photo a shelter employee had taken, and using some photo shop magic we put out the plea far and wide for someone, anyone, willing to foster this one dog.

The pieces fell together like a puzzle!
Before they even picked up  Tucker from the shelter he had an appointment with our veterinarian.
So, in one week Tucker:
+was named;
+came to our program;
+went into a loving home;
+is sleeping on cozy, comfortable doggy beds;
+spent two days at our vet, who we think is simply the best!
+was neutered, heart-worm tested, wormed, caught up to date on his shots and the eye, which had ruptured, was removed.
