Jane is an easy keeper, get’s along with others and behaves herself.
She is somewhat playful but more of a cat that enjoys watching.
I suspect when she in a home where she is by herself or there is just another cat, she will flower.
Jane was left at a local animal shelter early this past Spring.
She was, of course pregnant.
She delivered several kittens and took care of them. She was a good mama but that aspect of her life is now over.
She has been spayed and is ready to live out her life as a companion pet.
Jane is a bit timid around loud noises and may not do well with small children and energetic dogs.
She has good litter box habits and has not scratched anything.
She is a good napper too and can typically be found curled up in a kitty bed or up on top of a cat tower.
Jane is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application.
Medical: She is spayed, and up to date on shots.
She has been tested for Feline Leukemia and has Revolution put on her once a month.
Adoption fee: $100
DECLAWING: PetsConnect! has moved to a no-declaw policy. Adopters agree not to declaw the feline they adopt through PetsConnect!. We support the use of non-surgical interventions such as training, nail trimming, and plastic nail caps (Soft Claws or similar). Prior to adoption, the adopter may opt to purchase nail caps and PetsConnect! volunteers will apply them for a small additional fee. Feel free to request a free nail trimming demonstration at time of adoption, as well. Because our cats live in foster homes, they have an excellent head start in learning how to scratch on acceptable items such as scratch posts and cat furniture, and in becoming acclimated to nail trimming.
