She is good with other dogs as well as cats. But then, most of the other animals are bigger than her! Even the parrot is bigger than her.
Emma weighs in at a whopping five pounds.
Emma is a bit older, about 4 or 5 years of age. She came to us from a local animal shelter where she had been abandoned. From the size of her teats, we assume she was a breeder dog, but we don’t know.
She loves to be held, carried and to cuddle.
She really likes to sleep with people at night time.
She came to us with a hernia which our vet repaired when he spayed her.
I’m willing to bet she is feeling much better.
Emma appears to be house trained but will need to be watched. I would think puppy pads would work too, especially in the really cold weather but thus far this winter she has been willing to go outside to go potty.
She would be great for a family or an elder person and she would do really well bringing joy to others in pet therapy.
Emma is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application
