Olivia weighs in at 23 pounds. She is white with black in a pattern called ticking. She has some black on her face and a white spot on her forehead. She is adorable!
Olivia is house trained and actually very well behaved in the home.
She sleeps at the end of our bed at night and is a sound sleeper.
Olivia is great with other dogs including puppies who have a lot of learn.
She has also been good with cats.
We do not have children so I can’t say how she would do but my educated guess is she would be fine with the older crowd. I suspect with younger children running around she will try to go get them to behave and stay together. It’s a herding thing.
Olivia is fine in a crate and goes in one by herself once in awhile but we have not crated her. She has been fine left alone loose in the house.
Olivia enjoys some snuggle time but has not appeared needy.
She is a great little dog and will make someone really happy!
Olivia landed in a local animal shelter because she wanted to herd the children.
When I hear reasons like this I just want to say, DUH, you went out and got a herding dog but when it herds you get upset. Or, Hey, ever hear of training?
I am forever amazed at the dogs that land in animal shelters and how owners give up some amazing dogs.
Olivia is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application
