Roosevelt is a small little guy weighing at under six pounds full grown.
He has one of those Chihuahua fragile structures, the type that my vet refers to as having bird bones.
So, with that in mind, let’s just say up front, no young children.
No, this boy would do better in an adult home with visiting children.
He would most certainly do better in a home either by himself or with another smaller dog. He loves to snuggle with Keely or Gabby.
About Roosevelt: a sweet little guy who enjoys long naps and hanging where ever his foster mom is. He loves to snuggle in soft, comfy beds and really likes to be in bed with us but our bed is too high up off the ground making a fall off the bed not a good thing for this little one.
Roosevelt is good with other animals.
He is house trained. He will go to the door when he has to go outside. He can handle most steps pretty well. When outside he likes to investigate a bit but doesn’t wander off far and comes back to the door on his own or when called.
Of course, with the more chilly mornings and he being so small he comes back pretty quickly!
He may be a candidate for pad training during the really cold winter months.
We do not crate him at all but I’d imagine he would be fine in a crate.
When we leave he stays in my office or my bedroom with a doggy bed.
Sweet little guy looking for the right home.
