Gretchen is a delightful, dignified female Yorkie mix.
She is primarily black but has tan, cream and silver markings.
Gretchen is four years old with an estimated birth date of October 15, 2010.
She weighs in at just under 12 pounds and could loose just a little bit of weight.
Gretchen is great with other dogs as well as cats.
She is super well mannered in the home and only goes in her crate at night time.
If there were room, she would love to sleep in bed with us at night time.
Gretchen is house trained and will go to the door to go outside.
When outside she is good about staying close by but does need to be watched as she likes to explore the perimeter and she can be really hard to see, especially at dusk and night time. She is also small, close to the ground and there are things out in those woods that will eat her.
When we call she comes, but not always right away. If she is sniffing something she will more like meander back. But if we open the door to come inside then she high tails it for the door!
Gretchen is a great little dog. She is a dog that would be good for an older, quiet home as well as a home that is more active. I am not sure how she would do with wee children but I would guess visiting youngsters would be good enough.
Ages 10 and up would be good.
So, a bit older at four years of age but house trained, good with everything and a move in dog who will be your best friend.
