Liza and Missy: Female Coonhound pups

july_2_2014 157Liza and Missy are 6-8 month old Coon hound puppies.
They are a hoot!  Loving and silly and comical too.

Liza is more settled, more gentle and does not have quite the drive.
Missy is just as sweet but she is more driven and may have potential as a hunting dog.

With love and training and food and more training either or both will make great companion pets.

They are both good with other dogs, cats and children.

They are friendly to a fault, it’s a hound thing.

Both came to our program via another rescue.  The pups were found as strays.
They were thin and infested with parasites.

We suspect both of these pups will be large when full grown clicking here.
Adopters really should have fenced in yards and an understanding and love of hounds.
Hounds are great but they do have their quirks, such as howling.

Liza and Missy are both available for adoption.  If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment.  Click here for adoption application
