Meet Hero our newest Petsconnect member.
He is so very sweet and in such pitiful shape.
He was brought to the shelter this past Friday morning and by early this afternoon he was with us.
We took straight to Kryders Veterinary Clinic where blood tests, heart worm and fecal test were done.
His fecal and heart worm tests came out fine, thank goodness, but he wasn’t so lucky with the blood tests.
He is in rough shape from starvation so please say a prayer for this boy.
The first day he crawled up on the couch with me fell sound asleep.
We think Hero is about 10 months of age and we think he is a Shar Pei mix but we do not know for sure.
He is on several medications to help him get better and he is on a tight regulated diet consisting of a prescription canned food pharmacie en ligne.
As soon as he has put on some weight and his body functions are regulating them selves consistently his diet can change to, we hope, a less expensive food.
But, for now, we are doing everything we can to make sure he thrives.
It was touch and go the first few days we had him.
But tomorrow, December 20th, it will have been a week since he came to our program and we are fairly comfortable that he will be just fine.
Donations are greatly appreciated to help us with Hero.
Checks may be mailed to PetsConnect, PO Box 8104, South Bend, IN 46660-8104, payable to PetsConnect.
