Snow Angel

snow_angel_nov_26_2013 033Snow Angel is as precious as she looks!

This girl is snow white, weighs 15 pounds and appears to be a West Highland Terrier mix.
Her hair is curly and appears she does not shed.
She has a square shaped body and a cute terrier face.

Angel found herself safe and sound at a local animal shelter after being picked up wandering the cold, snowy streets of the city.  She does not have that much hair so we are thankful for the person who picked her up and took her to the animal shelter.

While at the shelter she was, understandably scared and preferred to hang in the back corner of her kennel.
She looked so forlorn.
When I went to see if she would let me pet her, she just stood there.  It was hard to know for sure if she was ok with me touching her or not.

I decided at that moment, I was ready to go, we were outside and it was cold so I just reached down and with one swift movement picked her up.
She was startled but fine and decided things had to get better!
They did.
I brought her home, gave her bath and in a couple days she went to the vet and was spayed.

So, now that she has been here a bit I can tell you she is fine with other dogs and with cats.
She appears to be house trained but I’m not for certain.
She is a sweet girl who spent the first couple days under my computer desk.

But now that she is feeling better she is a bit more playful.  She is however, a laid back dog and that just may be her personality.

Angel really enjoys stretching out on a blanket and if another dog curls up with her she is fine with that.

She is a nice little dog.
