Holiday Fill A Van

As a volunteer and foster people ask me a a lot of questions. I think the most common question is “Do you get attached to the animals that you foster?

Well that question is easy!

Yes sometimes you do get attached to the animals you foster. Those that need lots of TLC or are with you longer tend to tug at the heart when they go to their forever homes.

Knowing there are many more in need makes it worth it! When you adopt out a foster animal you are saving the life of one waiting for you in the shelter.

The other question is do I have to volunteer to help? While volunteers are always needed, anyone can lend a hand! Want to help? We have the perfect way to do just that.

With so many animals in need, fundraising is very important! One of our fundraisers is our Fill A Van. We collect donations from a wish list and try to fill the PetsConnect Van to the top!

We will be having our next Fill A Van on Saturday December 14th from 11 am to 5 pm. We are also looking for donations of baked items to sell along with items from our wish list.
