Bullet is not much bigger than a bullet!
He sort of runs like a bullet.
Ok, I’m pushing it with the name because my husband named this little guy and I really don’t know why he named him Bullet!
But Bullet it is.
Bullet is a four pound, four year old long coat Chihuahua.
He is tiny. You can see how small he is in the photo. He is sitting by our office phone.
Bullet does appear to be partially house trained, however, I suspect he may always need some pads down. And when it gets really cold out I’m not sure he will stay outside long enough to go potty. He is fairly well behaved in the home, he does climb up onto the chairs, table, office desk, etc. It is hard to contain him because he can squeeze through most gates, etc. So, he give him free run.
When we are watching TV he loves to snuggle with us and I’m sure he would love to sleep with us at night but he sleeps in a large cat carrier with an over stuffed doggy bed in it. At first he whined but he is really good about going in there now. He goes in there when we are not home too, mostly for his safety.
Bullet can be protective at times. Maybe this is where he got his name! If he is in someone’s lap and another person reaches for him he can be snappy. We have found this to be a common trait with Chihuahua’s.
Bullet would not be a good choice for younger children, I’d say he would do best in an adult home where children only visit.
He travels well and is a sweet, other than that nipping part, dog.
Bullett is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application
