Little Tulip

Tulip is ready for adoption!

Here is her story:

This little puppy came into our program when she was just four days old!
That day she was brought into a local animal shelter by the person who had bred her mother because the pup was missing it’s foot.
We suspect the mom dog was a first timer and became a bit too aggressive in chewing off the umbilical cord.

Initially we were not sure what would happen with Little Tulip’s foot.
So, imagine our surprise when the vet reported that she was growing foot pad!  It is amazing how the body can sometimes heal itself.  At this point it looks like she will be fully functioning on all four feet.  We shall see what our vet says when Tulip goes in to be spayed and he checks her out.

Meanwhile, Tulip has proven to be a sweet puppy enjoying her days going with her foster mom to work, playing with the children, interacting with the dog and hanging with the family cat!

This precious puppy has quite a following of well wishers and we suspect she will make them proud.

Tulip will be available for adoption once she is ready.
At this point in time I would estimate the end of May when she will be ready for adoption.
You are welcome to submit an application to adopt, however, we will not process applications until the week she is ready to be adopted.
