He is taller now and in a month has only put on 6 pounds so he doesn’t have that tankish look anymore. We still call him Tank.
Tank is four months old and weighs in at 26.7 pounds. It is hard to say for sure, but I am starting to think he will be a medium size dog. His breed mix is up for grabs too: Chow chow seems possible and maybe German Shepherd or Rottweiler or Lab or something black and brown. We don’t know. He has a black tongue.
Tank is a sweet boy. He is around and good with dogs and cats. He is pretty much house trained and crate trained. When loose in the house, he does get into things. He is a puppy and curious and teething so sometimes he will wander from his toy or rawhide to be sure something didn’t fall from the kitchen counter. Ok, and sometimes he is a bit more persuasive in finding stuff he should not. It’s a puppy thing and why we love doggy crates.
Tank would do best with a fenced in yard. Whoever adopts him needs to seriously consider participating in a dog obedience class. If you do that you will have a most wonderful companion. Tank has done exceptionally well with children at adoption events, but with children a fenced in yard is mandatory. And in families with children, someone needs to be able to take the time to work with Tank in dog obedience.
Tank has an easy going temperament and will do well in pretty much any home.
Tank is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application
