Pixie

Pixie is an adorable white with cream Schnoodle.
Pixie weighs in at just under 12 pounds.  She has the body structure and attitude of a poodle.
Her hair is more poodle like but it’s easy to see that she is also Schnauzzer.

Pixie is a year and a half old.  She is housetrained and good with other dogs and pretty good with cats too but sometimes she does want to chase them.

Pixie prefers to not share: toys, food, treats, rawhides or laps.  We are working with her on that but whoever adopts her will also need to work with her if there are more dogs or cats in the home.  She does enjoy playing with other dogs, especially Betsy the Bichon.

It is important to know that Pixie does require regular grooming.  I’m not sure if she sheds, but I doubt it.  New owners should be financially prepared to take her to a groomer every 6-8 weeks as well as brushing her in between.
Pixie is active and smart.  This is a great combination for those who want a dog to work with but not so great for those looking for more of a lap dog.  Whoever adopts Pixie needs to be prepared to spend time in some dog obedience classes and perhaps some doggy sporting activities too.  She would be a great little dog for Rally Obedience, agility, clicker training and Pet Therapy and I’m sure much more!
Pixie is an adorable dog with lots of potential!

Pixie is available for adoption.  If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment.  Click here for adoption application
