Tia is a six month old female, black with some light tan highlights. I’m not sure of her mix: hound, spaniel, beagle, lab? I can tell you that she tends to be on the needy side and can be whiney. She ‘talks’ a lot in not a bark but a soft barky-howl. She wants to be at your side or at your feet. She does not run away but doesn’t exactly come when called. Ok, so this is not sounding so good.
Tia is a loving, very social dog. She would be great for someone who would like a dog by them all the time. She loves to fetch! But when she brings the object back sometimes she urinates. She is submissive. She is getting better about the urniating when she brings it back.
Tia does best when allowed to be with you. She also does fairly well in her crate but will bark at first.
Tia has a lot of potential but needs someone who reallly wants a companion. She will be your best late night watching movies and eating pop corn buddy!
She is a great foot warmer too – she is curled up at my feet right now as I write this!
Tia needs dog training to build up her confidence. And she needs somone who can handle that barky thing she does. Maybe clicker train her to do that on command? Temperment wise, she would be fantastic as a Pet Therapy dog.
Tia does well with everything and causes no trouble. She shares everthing too. She can not go in a home with someone who is not stable on their feet as she sometimes will go between your legs! But then again, with the right person that could be a trainable cool trick!
Great little dog for the right person!
