Howdy is a two year old 70 pound Foxhound.
This handsome boy loves to play!  He loves having his own toys and never chews on anything unless it’s his.
Howdy knows some commands: Sit, Down, Short stays, and shake.  He is trained to walk with a Gentle Leader.
Howdy is OK with other dogs and loves to play outside.
He is house-trained but a crate is recommended at night.  He is curious about cats but doesn’t try to hurt them.  He loves kids, but because he is large and doesn’t know he’s large he would do better with older kids 12+.
He does bark on occasion, but only when he has a reason too or wants something.  He is an all around outgoing and comical hound that will need an outlet for his energy.
He attends Linda’s Camp K9 during the week to play and keep him busy!
Howdy found himself in a shelter when his owner moved and was not able to take Howdy along.  Howdy had been well taken care of and participated in obedience classes.  The fact that Howdy landed in shelter and then rescue is just sometimes what happens in life.  He is a great dog
