Jasper is a neat looking guy: he is black with deep brown markings. His coat is developing a bit of a curl on the stop and his tail is curling up over his back. Jasper was said to be a Doberman mix but I’m not so sure. At three months he only weighs in at 20 pounds and he seems on the small side to me. But, I’ve been surprised lots of times before!
Jasper is timid and seems to be afraid of men. We are working with this. He is a sweet puppy and eager to please once he is assured all will be well. He enjoys other dogs, pounces on cats and has done well with children. He will need a home with a soft hand, a tender voice and someone with patience.
Jasper is working on housetraining but it’s been a challenge with all this snow. He is crate trained and really likes his crate. He loves attention and is an affectionate, loving dog. He enjoys spending time in a lap being petted.
Jasper is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment. Click here for adoption application
