Dixie is a sweet, female Red Bloodhound.
Just five years old and weighing in at 107 pounds, this girl is housetrained, great in the house and low energy.
She is great leash walking, great with children – even active ones and simply an easy to care for dog.
Her favorite activities are eating, sleeping and walks around the block.
Dixie shares a home with some other dogs, a cat and quite a bit of the time active school age children. She is fine with all of it. She has bonded to her foster mom and will bond with a new forever mom.
Dixie really needs a forever home as she has been bumped about from shelter to rescue to rescue. Her next home needs to be her last home. No more bumping about. And she is a great girl. This is the dog for you if you like easy going, easy to care for, big dogs!
Dixie is available for adoption. If you are interested, please fill out an application and email it to us as an attachment.
